We are a family owned group of companies in the real estate, entertainment and service industries operating out of the City of Penticton since 1968. Since immigrating to the City of Penticton from Greece in 1955 our family has provided establishments that have served great food, unmatched nightlife and live entertainment.
We opened our first of five very successful restaurants in 1968 and our first Penticton nightclub in 1977 called Tiffany’s Cabaret. After numerous expansions over 21 years, it became BC’s second largest nightclub at 654 seats. In 1998, the Element® brand of nightclub was born as a complete overhaul of Tiffany’s took place. Combined, Tiffany’s and Element Nite Club in Penticton has been under our family’s ownership for 35 years and is currently the longest owner operated nightclub in BC.
There exists a long, very long story about how we ended up in Castlegar, a town of 7000, with BC’s 3rd largest Liquor Primary Licensed establishment at 600 seats. The story begins in 2002 with an unplanned trip to Castlegar, the purchase of a fire ravaged building and it’s transformation by the middle of 2006 into a world class resto-bar, nightclub and concert venue.
With industry first and cutting edge technologically advanced lighting, sound and video, we were nominated for Best Lighting System and Best Video System at the Club World Awards® in Miami, Florida in 2007. In addition, our club was one of six venues worldwide chosen by the much respected industry periodical MondoDR UK to be showcased in their quarterly magazine. Since opening, we have had the distinction of being featured in over twenty canadian and international publications.
Between 2006 and 2010, we were recipients of the Chamber of Commerce “Best New Business,” ”Best Business,” “Businessman of the Year.” and “Food & Beverage Excellence Awards.” In addition, our General Manager Florio was named one of the Top 10 Business People in the Kootenays by Kootenay Business Magazine in 2011.
We pride ourselves on the details and features that our venue provides our patrons. From a custom designed hydraulic stage, fully automated and computer controlled lighting system, unparalleled food menu and a unique two storey layout with a nightclub on the main floor and a mezzanine restaurant. Element Club Bar Grill brings an atmosphere that is big city in feel, yet is approachable by people of all ages which has given us the opportunity to host charity events, theatre, comedy, live cage fighting and an enormous list of live entertainers. A highlight of entertainers over the years includes Trailer Park Boys, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, Steve-O of Jackass, Vince Neil of Motley Crue, K-OS, Jacksoul & Divine Brown, Default, 54•40, Dr. Hook, Nazareth, Trooper, Spirit of the West, Everclear, Tennessee 3, Men Without Hats, Naughty by Nature, Obie Trice, D12, Warren G, Mark Farina, Benny Benassi, Global Deejays, Bassnectar, Excision and the list goes on.
